The event is part of a wide range of activities on offer at John Spence.  We will have over 30 John Spence pupils helping lead and marshal this event.

On the Day

An amazing number of pupils, teachers and parents supported the event on a pleasant, sunny, Summers day! We had over 600+ runners with everyone trying their hardest and having fun, whilst competiting on a large scale basis.

The event started with a mss warm up led by Mr Pilkington and the John Spence leaders. A basic pulse raising warm up was then followed by some dance classics such as Car Wash and Cha Cha Slide. A truly impressive spectacle with every participant dancing away!

Around 30 runners from the five different schools fronted the race in contention for a top 10 finish! T shirts, bands and stickers where all handed out at the end of the run! The event was a massive success with lots of happy, smiley, but also tired faces by the end of it!

Well done everyone!
