John Spence is a popular and successful school, serving students from the North Shields area of North Tyneside.
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, hardworking professional to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. The successful candidate may have experience of working with children in the 11-16 age range but this is not essential. They will have high expectations when supporting teaching and learning throughout the school. NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential however, degree level qualification is desirable.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team, supervising the learning of whole classes during the short term absence of the class teacher and undertaking teaching assistant duties when not required for cover.
