 John Spence is a popular and successful school, serving students from the North Shields area of North Tyneside.  We have a reputation for social inclusion, high academic standards and for providing a high level of student support.

This is a permanent appointment to join a high performing cohesive Technology department.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Design and Technology teacher with a Food and Catering specialism. Experience of teaching across all areas of technology in KS3 and KS4 Health and Social Care is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a creative and dedicated teacher, with high expectations, to help us raise standards further. The successful applicant will work as part of the school team to develop resources and materials to support our students across all ability ranges.
