To exemplify our commitment to providing consistently high quality teaching, we have devised a set of John Spence Teacher Standards specific to our School. These are standards which not only meet the criteria specified by the Department for Education, but also embody our distinctive school ethos.

John Spence teachers proactively encourage student participation, passionately facilitate learning and progress, provide meaningful assessment and feedback and carefully manage student attitudes for learning by consistently applying rewards and sanctions whilst wholeheartedly promoting our ‘Fit for Life’ ethos.
