The John Spence trampoline club meets every Tuesday evening after school. Such is the popularity of the club that we have a waiting list of students waiting for places becoming available for them to attend.
The most able performers are invited to join the school’s very successful trampoline academy that meets before school on Wednesday mornings.
Coach Sean Dixon and assistant Di Williams have helped our students to success in both local and regional competitions.
At North Tyneside level: Abbie Reid (Year 8) Connor Cummings, Jordan Nelson, Josh Barrass (all Year 9) Robert Buglass (Year 10) and Zoe Legg (Year 11) all won Gold Medals. Kelsey McCarthy (Year 8) won Silver.
At the Tyne and Wear Championships in Sunderland Jordan Nelson became the number one male in the region for Elite KS3 whilst Zoe Legg came 4th in the KS4 female Elite category.
